Vauxhall vs Ford

I absolutely love my iPhone 6.

It does everything I want it to do, is easy to use and just seems to make my life better.

In a very spirited discussion the other night, a good friend of mine claimed that I was nothing more than an ‘iSheep’.

He’s a strong advocate of his Samsung, despite the fact that it could catch fire at any moment.

Which phone is the best really is down to personal taste, of which my friend clearly has none.

But this difference of opinion got me to thinking about the cars that we drive.

Here at Thame Cars you might have noticed that we sell a lot of Vauxhall & Ford.

And that’s no coincidence: we've been doing this for over 2 decades and know that these two excellent brands are very popular in the area with our customers.

So it makes sense for us to have lots of these lovely cars in our showroom waiting to go to a good home.

But, to quote Harry Hill, which is better: a Vauxhall or a Food? There’s only one way to find out…

FIIIIIIIIIGHT!

Well, not literally, but we are having a bit of an event this weekend where we’re handing over the verdict of which is better out to the popular vote.

Introducing…

Vauxhall vs. Ford: Battle Of The Brands

We’re inviting you along to our showroom on Rycote Lane to test drive two similar class cars; one from each brand.

Like a Corsa & a Fiesta.

Or an Insignia & a Mondeo.

Once you’ve driven around our special test loop in both cars you’ll be asked which one you preferred, with your verdict then being recorded on our Knockout Chart.

At the end of the day we’ll know for certain which is better, according to the people who matter the most (that’s you, by the way!)

If you can join us, plan on taking 30 minutes to complete both test drives (or longer if you’d like to do additional comparisons - there’s no limit!) between 10am and 4pm this Saturday.

Just turn up to Thame Cars on Rycote Lane with your driving licence and we’ll get you behind the wheel before you can say ‘mince pies’.

Which, incidentally, will be part of your reward for a job well done.

No need to book, no charge, and no pressure to buy.

Just come along and have some fun and cast your discerning vote for the Battle of the Brands.

See you on Saturday,

P.S. Even if you can’t make it to the day, check out the Facebook Event Page which we’ll be updating with the latest results and LiveStreams
